Sixth Joint Economic Commission for the North West

The Joint Economic Commission for the North West agreed a number of actions at its sixth meeting:

to encourage businesses in difficulty to seek advice from their accountants, solicitors and banks
to discuss access to finance issues with the banks
to share the good practice at Tameside Local Authority to encourage more effective use of Local Employment Partnerships amongst the Public Sector
to support and publicise LEPs and apprenticeships for young people

The next meeting will focus on the future particularly the creative, media and digital sectors and will be held in Cheshire.
