Mike was appointed Customer Services Director for Jobcentre Plus North West in May 2008. As Director Mike is accountable for all elements of customer service delivered from Jobcentre Plus within the region.
He joined the Department in 1980 and has held a great variety of roles including Parliamentary and Customer Services Manager, Head of Workforce Planning covering HR and as Project Manager for Centralisation of benefit processing. Latterly, in 2007 he took up post as Head of Transformation for Jobcentre Plus and in 2008, following the creation of a new Division, became Head of Products and Transformation.
