Steve Moore began his career with the Agency in 2000. Currently responsible for developing and influencing regional strategies both within and outside the Environment Agency, he is the Regional Strategy Manager for the NW. Steve has worked through various roles including Head of Business Improvement, Head of Operations, Corporate Services Manager and Area Manager. Finding ways of improving the environment through the way the organisation works, the influence it carries and the messages it communicates has been paramount in all these roles. Steve has significant experience in regulation, strategic planning and policy development, and in organisational change management. He sees the organisation as being at the forefront of addressing the environment challenges this nation and the rest of the world face in relation to climate change and all that it brings. Steve is married with two children currently living in Cheshire. Outside of work he spends most of his time with his family and friends, coaching the local football team and is a member of the Village Committee.
